Innovative Solutions for Home Builders: Incorporating Heat Recovery and Air Conditioning with Genvex Premium 300

Introduction to Genvex Premium 300

This machine is a unique combination of ventilation with heat recovery combining the latest heat pump technology to provide air conditioning and heat boost to the home air supply.

Understanding Heat Recovery Systems

Ventilation in our new type homes and offices is essential to provide the occupants with clean filtered warm or cool air to breath. The construction is so air tight to save wasted energy it will not allow fresh air to enter or leave. So we introduce either holes in the wall or windows, fans in the bathrooms, full house extract system or a full heat recovery and ventilation solution.

Air Conditioning Solutions for Home Builders

The solution provided by Genvex for the last 20 years is unique.

The heat pump boosts the supply air from an already efficient latent heat transfer unit, either to heat the supply air or cool it depending on the set temperature required. There is no outside unit as in traditional air conditioning setup. The unit uses the waste air being dumped from the heat recovery unit to extract additional energy. The heat pump is not changing mediums (air to air) so it maintains very high efficiency rates of 5.1 :1 so for every Kwh used 5.1 Kwh is given back.

Due to the use of large glazing and super insulated homes / offices a system Genvex Premium 300 allows you to install a system that will constantly monitor and adjust the air temperature and volume automatically with no necessary manual adjustment. Air conditioning by itself as seen here in a traditional sence as you often seen in shops and offices will only change the temperature of the air. It cools or heats whatever air it has to work with but does not change the air. So you are still breathing in stale contaminated air of very poor quality albeit it feels fresh due to the fact it has been cooled or heated.

Energy Efficiency Benefits of Genvex Premium 300

- The Genvex Premium 300 ventilation machine ensures optimal indoor air quality by efficiently removing stale air and introducing fresh air. - It helps in reducing humidity levels, preventing mold growth, and maintaining a comfortable environment. - The machine's energy-efficient design helps in lowering energy bills by recovering heat from the extracted air. - By continuously circulating fresh air, it improves overall health and well-being of occupants. - The Genvex Premium 300 ventilation machine is environmentally friendly, promoting sustainability and reducing carbon footprint.

The units cooling capacity is approx. 6000BTU total so it is not a large air conditioner but it uses the cooling capacity of the latent heat exchanger which is in the machine to enhance the cooling effect of the supply air. In other works the machine uses the outgoing air to cool the incoming air and the air conditioning unit heat pump element further cools the incoming air.

During cooling and heating the total consumption of the unit is approx 700 watts.

Our customers find that the unit is most valuable in winter to increase the incoming air to add approx. 3Kw of heat to the standard heat recovery unit. So in a cold winters day with the outside air at 1oC the unit will supply air to the house at 30oC +.

Given the efficiency of the heat pump at a COP of 5:1 it is the most efficient way to heat your home. Indeed if your home is up to passive standard, this unit will supply most of your heat demand.

Improving Indoor Air Quality with Genvex Premium 300

To ensure optimal indoor air quality and energy efficiency, heat recovery and ventilation systems play a crucial role in buildings. The Genvex Premium 300 is a unique solution that offers numerous benefits for occupants.

One of the key advantages of heat recovery and ventilation systems is the continuous supply of fresh air while efficiently recovering heat from the outgoing air. This process helps maintain a comfortable and healthy indoor environment by reducing humidity levels and eliminating pollutants.

By using the Genvex Premium 300, occupants can enjoy improved air quality and a more pleasant living or working space. Additionally, heat recovery systems contribute to energy savings by preheating incoming fresh air using the heat from the extracted air. This results in reduced heating costs and overall energy consumption, making it an eco-friendly choice for sustainable buildings.

The Genvex Premium 300 offers high efficiency and performance Furthermore, proper ventilation and heat recovery systems help prevent the buildup of harmful gases, odours, and mold, which can have adverse effects on health. With the Genvex Premium 300, occupants can breathe easy knowing that the air circulating in the building is clean and free from contaminants.

In conclusion, heat recovery and ventilation systems, such as the Genvex Premium 300, are essential for creating a healthy, energy-efficient, and comfortable indoor environment. By investing in quality systems like the Genvex Premium 300, occupants can experience improved air quality, lower energy costs, and a safer living or working environment.

Installation and Maintenance of Genvex Premium 300

Installation of this machine is the same as a standard heat recovery and ventilation unit. It requires a little bit more space and it need to sit on a firm base as it weights over 150kgs. Regarding maintenance change the filter once per year and a quick vacuum out and insects in the intake, check all the connections and that is pretty much it.
